ALMANAC-8 soccer poll
The Almanac-8 ranks the top eight teams in the Southwestern Indiana area. The poll is released twice a month during the soccer season. This is the final poll as obviously the post-season tournament will determine the true #1 local team. Parentheses () indicates missing records

| The top-ranked Tigers are rocking tournaments in neighboring states--Colonel Classic (KY) and Quincy Classic (IL). Look for them to make a serious run at Indiana's starting this week.

| Castle's only blemish since the first weekend is a loss to Memorial. The Knights close a tough season with a good run and seem to be peaking at the right time.

| Patriots team finishes the season with three straight wins, but the only thing that matters now is a post-season date with Castle.

| The Hatchets' come-from-behind win over Harrison showed grit heading into this week's sectional

| North has a season finale versus Castle which will be a good test. The Huskies' only true setback was at Memorial back in early September but a potential rematch looms
