ALMANAC-8 soccer poll
The Almanac-8 ranks the top eight teams in the Southwestern Indiana area. The poll is released twice a month during the soccer season. This is the final poll as obviously the post-season tournament will determine the true #1 local team. Parentheses () indicate missing records

| Unblemished still, the Tigers are ready to defend their state title.

| Although they lost to Memorial, it was the #1 team in the state. Other close games in Fort Wayne against ranked teams should have the Knights ready for post-season play.

| The Hatchets clinched another Big 8 title, but after this week they will look to make a deep run into October.

| Mater Dei rattled off 5 straight wins before losing to Castle. Look for a Reitz-Mater Dei rematch this time around for sectional honors.

| (9-4-3)
| Reitz tied Washington last week proving they could win their first sectional since 2001. The Panthers open up against Mt Vernon whom they just beat 6-0.

| The Wildcats have had some tough results. What's more, an unlucky draw against Washington will make sectionals even tougher.

| The Jeeps have played strong all season, but a long gap between their last game and playoffs may generate some rust.
