Forest Park knocks off 2 ranked teams to claim its first regional

Forest Park defeated #12A Mater Dei 1-0 and then knocked off #13A Washington Catholic 2-1 to take its first ever regional title. The Cardinals defeated Vincennes Rivet 4-1 in the semifinal, but were unable to best the Rangers, a team they tied earlier this season. Congratulations Forest Park, Rangers!

Forest Park now move on to the Floyd Central semi-state where it faces #5A Speedway from the Indy area. #17A Oldenburg awaits the winner of Providence and Trinity Lutheran, whose regional was delayed until tonight.
