AlmanacSports.com is excited to celebrate our 15th anniversary with the publication of football scores for all of Indiana from 1950 to present day!
While the website traces its roots back to 1996, AlmanacSports.com went live on July 1, 2005, when my brother Joe and I combined our soccer and football websites.
While I initially only focused on Southwestern Indiana, I've expanded my research to include the entire Hoosier state and now have results, conference standings plus more from 1950 to 2020!
New features
Here's a complete list of the new features to the football section:
- Full schedules for 2020 season
- Results from 1950 to present for all of Indiana
- Results from 1894 to present for SW Indiana
- The Team Histories page now has links for closed or inactive schools
- On a team's schedule page, it now also lists the conference standings
- On a team's history page, it now also lists championships won
Growing pains
As more and more data has been added to the website, there are a few pages which are (temporarily) not working right. This includes:
- weekly scoreboard page
- pages which list a schools complete score history
- disbanded conference standings sometimes don't show up
- conferences with teams that are also in other conferences don't always show the full conference standings
