Since 1985 when the IHSAA allowed all teams, regardless of win/loss record, to participate in the postseason football tournament, a blind draw has been used to determine the sectional pairings. However, over the last several years, there have been discussions on seeding the teams. Should the powers that be wish to go that route, AlmanacSports.com would like to offer a solution: the Hoosier Prep Football Postseason Championship Series (PCS).

The PCS was formerly known as the h2o Poll, but only listed the top four teams in each class. The PCS now lists every team that participates in the postseason.

Using all the polls and ratings systems out there, we've put together a formula similar to college football's BCS, ranking each class separately.
