Team History

Argos has perhaps the richest tradition of soccer in northern Indiana. That tradition had been all on the boys' side, as soccer was begun in 1963 as an activity to get the boys in shape for basketball season. Argos helped start the Northern Indiana Soccer Conference (NISC) in 1969 to help foster competition, and won 3 Indiana High School Soccer Association (IHSSA) state championships in 1973, 1976 and 1978.
