Team History

In 1994, the Indiana High School Athletic Association officially sanctioned soccer as a high school sport and Jasper High School fielded its first girls soccer team in this inaugural season. During the first three years, girls soccer was coached by Mark French. Over the next four years, the 'Cats had four different coaches.

Beginning in 2001, Phil Clauss took over as head coach, and Lisa Luegers as Varsity Assistant coach. Anthony Price joined the staff in 2003.

In 2002, a strong group of freshman came along as one of the first groups to play competitive club soccer prior to High School. With a very fine coaching staff in place, a successful feeder system, and a strong senior class, Jasper has put together 4 consecutive 12 win seasons, and two conference championships.
